DSCA wants to create digital transparency in sea freight
The non-profit association DSCA realizes the value of digital transparency and creates a digital platform that will benefit transport buyers.
Since 2017, Adnavem has made a difference for transport buyers who want to take control of their transport flows. Transparency is our main driving force and by offering transport buyers control over their containers, we are changing the way the transport and logistics industry looks.
"Connecting transport buyers directly with the providers of transport services without intermediaries is a logical development," says Andreas Gustavsson, Operational Specialist at Adnavem.
Digital Container Shipping Association
Now shipowners have also realized the value of digital development, which is expected to be another advantage for all transport buyers. The Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA), which now has nine shipping companies affiliated to it, is a non-profit association that aims to create a common innovative platform to promote digital transparency and standardization of information in the container and transport industry.
"We strive for less bureaucracy and more transparency. The timing is right, because technological development creates new customer-friendly opportunities. Together, we have greater power to deliver technological breakthroughs and better service to our customers than if we work in different directions," says André Simha , CIO at MSC and spokesman for DCSA in a press release from DCSA.
"DCSA is further proof that the transport industry is leaving its traditional way of working and becoming more digital. We at Adnavem continue to ensure that digitalisation is to the advantage of the transport buyer where they gain control and transparency in their transport flows," says Andreas Wramsmyr, founder and CEO Adnavem.
